Our Origins

The Mogel story is one of rebirth and renewal, both professionally and personally. Founding partners Eric and Christine Gilo had each achieved significant success in “corporate America” before they met, but were eager to chart their own course. As they saw their personal relationship and professional passions begin to align, they felt it was the perfect opportunity to pursue both a life together and their dream of owning a Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) agency. So, they formed a family and a company in rapid succession, and found that each greatly strengthened the other.

Today Mogel is a thriving organization built on Eric and Christine’s dedication to their craft, their commitment to improving their clients’ lives one career at a time, and their love for ohana and hanai (blood relatives and extended family). In an era where the personal connections that used to drive business are rapidly vanishing, Mogel is revitalizing them to power its success and bring happiness and prosperity to its staff and clients.

Christine Gilo


Prior to co-founding Mogel, Christine’s recruiting career involved key roles for a number of organizations including Human Resources Director for two well-respected Phoenix law firms, Vice President for Contract & Temporary Recruiting and Staffing Services for another, and Attorney Recruiting Coordinator for a Top 25 international law firm. Later she served for three years as the Branch Director for a leading Fortune 500 recruitment firm. In each position, she refused to settle for simply meeting the expectations of her highly demanding clients, instead developing a much-deserved reputation for exceeding them.

Christine’s comprehensive understanding of the people, processes, and operations involved in talent acquisition and Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) gives her a unique perspective on recruiting. Paired with her tireless commitment to client satisfaction, it has made her a respected authority and innovator in her industry.

Eric Gilo


Eric’s passion for connecting great companies with great talent was evident when he began his recruiting career in the late 1990s. Since then, his leadership skills have become equally apparent. Before co-founding Mogel, he had very successful tenures with Fortune 500 specialized recruiting firms, where he held positions including Area Manager, Branch Manager-Financial Services Group, Division Director, and Talent Acquisition Manager. Recognized many times for his outstanding performance, Eric managed a Fortune 500 recruitment team that achieved a #1 ranking, and was personally honored with the #1 ranking for recruiters worldwide.

A graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a degree in Business Administration and Human Resource Management, Eric’s relentless work ethic is as important to Mogel clients as his education or experience. They praise his eagerness to take on challenges and to do whatever it takes to meet their goals.
